Passengers must have a valid visa issued by South Africa.
Nationals of India can obtain an e-visa before departure at https://ehome.dha.gov.za/epermit . They must arrive at Cape Town (CPT), Durban (DUR) or Johannesburg (JNB) airports.

Passengers with a residence permit or Immigration Permit issued by South Africa do not need a visa.
Passengers with a visa issued by the Department of Home Affairs Head Office in South Africa must have proof that they were in South Africa at the time of issuance. Visa labels starting with control numbers B0028 and B0029 are fraudulent and will not be accepted.
Visas in an expired passport are accepted if the passenger has a new passport.

Passengers can apply to extend their stay for an additional 90 days upon arrival. They must apply at least 60 days before the expiration date of their visa, permit or visa exempt period.
