Exemptions for Residents

Passengers with a re-entry or a residence permit issued by Thailand do not need a visa.

E-visa

Passengers can obtain an e-visa before departure at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ . They must have a printed e-visa confirmation. E-arrival cards are not e-visas.

Exemptions for Normal Passport

Nationals of India with a normal passport who travel as tourists or on business do not need a visa for a maximum of 60 days. They can apply to extend their stay for an additional 30 days. If their stay will exceed the actual visa-free period, they are allowed to enter if they have a return/onward ticket.

Visa Information

ACMECS Single Visa issued by Cambodia and Thailand is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and is valid for a stay of 60 days in Thailand. Holders of visas issued by Cambodia (marked KHA) must pay their fee for Thailand upon arrival in Thailand.

Visa Validity

Valid visas in expired passports and e-visas issued against an expired passport are accepted together with a new, valid passport.
