Passengers with a re-entry permit issued by Syria do not need a visa.
Passengers with a residence permit issued by Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates can obtain a visa upon arrival.They must have a valid address in Syria, a contact number and sufficient funds to cover their stay.
Housemaids can obtain a visa on arrival. They must: - be traveling accompanied by a sponsor or the sponsor's wife; or - holding a certified power of attorney issued by the Syrian Embassy; and - have a residence permit that is at least 6 months old.
Nationals of India who are mothers, wives or children of passengers of Syrian origins and accompanying them, can obtain a visa upon arrival.
Passengers with a passport stating that the country of birth is Algeria, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates or Yemen do not need a visa.
Passengers of Syrian origins do not need a visa if they have one of the following documents (can be expired) issued by Syria, containing a photo: - passport; or - driver's license; or - photo ID card.
