Passengers with an "Entry Permit" issued by the Sudanese Ministry of Interior can obtain a visa upon arrival for a maximum of 60 days. They can apply to extend their stay upon arrival.
Passengers with a residence or re-entry permit issued by Sudan do not need a visa.
Passengers married to a national of Sudan can obtain a visa upon arrival. They must have a copy of their marriage certificate.
Passengers who can prove that they are of Sudanese origins from the father's side can obtain a visa upon arrival. Proof is a national ID number, a Sudanese ID card, an old Sudanese passport or a birth certificate.
Passengers with a "United Nations Mission in Sudan" (UNMIS) ID card can obtain a visa upon arrival.
