Nationals of India do not need a visa for a maximum of 90 days.
Passengers without a pre-approved visa sponsorship could be refused entry. The sponsor who must be a national of Maldives, must complete the application through IMUGA Portal at https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv and obtain the Sponsorship Declaration Approval Slip from Maldives Immigration before arrival. The form (Sponsorship Declaration Form) can be downloaded at https://www.immigration.gov.mv/downloads/ .
A valid e-visa in an expired travel document is not accepted for entry.
