Passengers with a residence permit issued by Cyprus or Ireland (Rep.) to family members of a Union Citizen do not need a visa for a maximum of 90 days in a period of 180 days. The visa exemption for family members of a Union Citizen applies if the residence permit is issued by: - the country of residence, which must be different from the country of nationality of the Union Citizen; or - the country of nationality of the Union Citizen, if the Union Citizen and family member returned within 6 months after departing from the country of residence.
Passengers with a residence permit issued by Denmark do not need a visa.
Passengers with a residence permit issued by Monaco or another Schengen Member State do not need a visa for a maximum of 90 days in a period of 180 days.
Passengers with an EU Blue Card (residence permit) issued by Cyprus traveling on business do not need a visa for a maximum of 90 days in a period of 180 days.
Valid visas in full, invalidated travel documents are accepted if accompanied by a new travel document.
Schengen "D" Visas issued by Portugal with the remark "CPLP" are not accepted. Schengen "C" visas must be valid for the visited Schengen Member State. This is specified in the "valid for" field of the visa.
"C" visas issued by Bulgaria or Romania before 31 March 2024 are not accepted.
Visas for travel to Greenland or the Faroe Isl. must state "valid for Greenland", "valid for the Faroe Islands", or "valid for Greenland and the Faroe Islands".
