Passengers can enter with a visa issued by Ireland (Rep.) under the British Irish Visa Scheme (BIVS) valid for at least 6 months. They must have entered Ireland (Rep.) with the visa prior to traveling to Gibraltar. The visa must be valid for the period of intended stay in Gibraltar.
Nationals of India can enter with a multiple entry visa issued by a Schengen Member State valid for at least 7 days beyond the period of stay. They are visa exempt for a maximum of 21 days.
Passengers can enter with a multiple entry visa issued by the United Kingdom valid for at least 6 months. The visa must be valid for the period of intended stay in Gibraltar.
Passengers with a residence permit issued by Gibraltar do not need a visa.
If the passenger resides in a country different from their nationality, specify the country of residence to see possible exemptions.
Passengers can enter with a passport that has: - the remark "Indefinite leave to remain in the UK"; or - a Certificate of Entitlement to the Right of Abode issued by the United Kingdom, valid for at least 1 year. The passenger must not have been outside of the United Kingdom for more than 2 years.
Visitors wishing to enter Gibraltar for residence or employment must obtain permission from the Government of Gibraltar, except nationals of the EU Member State.
