Passengers must have a valid visa issued by Cape Verde. They must also present the visa application authorization upon arrival.

Passengers with a re-entry permit issued by Cape Verde do not need a visa.
Passengers with a residence permit issued by a European Union Member State can obtain a visa upon arrival for a maximum of 30 days if they travel as tourists. They can apply to extend their stay upon arrival for an additional 90 days.
Passengers born in Cape Verde who have acquired foreign nationality, as well as their spouses and children younger than 18 years do not need a visa. They must have a foreign passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate or other document stating that they were born in Cape Verde, are married or are a minor child of a father or mother born in Cape Verde.
