Passengers must have a valid visa issued by Chile.

E-visaE-visa route

Passengers can obtain an e-visa before departure at https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/ . They must have a printed e-visa confirmation. The validity of the visa can be checked via https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/Solicitudes/ValidarIngreso.aspx .

Exemptions for 3rd Country Visa

Nationals of India who travel as tourists for a maximum of 90 days can enter with a visa issued by USA. The visa must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival. This does not apply to passengers with C visas.

Exemptions for Residents

Passengers with a national ID card issued to residents of Chile (Cedula de Identidad Para Extranjeros) do not need a visa.

Visa Issuance Country Specific

Passengers with an entry authorization issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile can obtain a visa upon arrival. The authorization must specify the name, nationality, passport number, duration of stay and purpose of travel of the passenger.

Exemptions for 3rd Country Residents

If the passenger resides in a country different from their nationality, specify the country of residence to see possible exemptions.

Passengers with an entry visa issued by Chile must also have a consular registration (Cedula Consular).

Visitors of Easter Island are allowed to stay for a maximum of 30 days. They must: - have a return ticket, and - submit an entry form on https://ingresorapanui.interior.gob.cl , and - have a reservation in a hotel approved by Sernatur ( http://serviciosturisticos.sernatur.cl/alojamientos/rapanui ), or - have an invitation letter from a resident of Easter Island.
