Passengers must have a valid visa issued by Congo (Dem. Rep.)

Passengers with a re-entry permit issued by Congo (Dem. Rep.) do not need a visa.
Passengers with a document that proves their Congo (Dem. Rep.) origins (i.e. a surname that is part of the Congolese cultural heritage, a birth certificate, an old passport or an old Congolese identity card or a passport stating Congo (Dem. Rep.) as place of birth.) or their parents Congo (Dem. Rep.) origins can obtain a visa upon arrival for a maximum of 30 days.
Visas must be used within 3 months after date of issuance.
When the number of entries is not specified, the visa is only valid for one entry.
Passengers with a long term visa must have an exit/re-entry visa. This does not apply to passengers with a Visa d'Etablissement Permanent (VEP).
Visitors with a visa that was not issued in the country of residence could be refused entry. Visas issued in another country are only accepted when there is no embassy of Congo (Dem. Rep.) in the country of residence.
Visitors are not permitted to enter Congo (Dem. Rep.) on the date of expiry indicated on their visa. At the latest, the visa may be used one day before the date of expiry.
