Passengers with a residence permit/CRNM (Carteira de Registro Nacional Migratorio) issued by Brazil do not need a visa.
If the passenger resides in a country different from their nationality, specify the country of residence to see possible exemptions.
Nationals of India with an Application for Recognition of Refugee Status (Documento Provisorio de Identidade de Estrangeiro) must have a visa.
Short-term (30, 60, 90 days) tourist and business visas must be used for entry before the visa expires, unless stated otherwise on the visa. The authorized duration of stay begins from the day of first entry in Brazil.
The first entry must happen within the validity of the visa. The validity is indicated on the visa.
The validity of long term (1, 3 and 5 years) tourist and business visas starts on the day of issuance.
