Passengers can obtain an e-visa before departure at https://www.evisa.gov.bh/ . Passengers must have an electronic or a printed e-visa confirmation which must be verified by scanning its QR code.

Exemptions for Residents

Passengers with a residence permit or national ID card issued by Bahrain do not need a visa.

Visa Issuance for 3rd Country Residents

Passengers with a residence permit issued by Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates can obtain a visa upon arrival for a maximum of 1 month if: - their residence permit was issued at least 3 months before arrival and valid for at least another 3 months upon arrival; and - they have a hotel reservation confirmation; and - a return/onward ticket for next destination; and - sufficient funds to cover their stay. This does not apply to passengers whose profession is Labourer. House Drivers, Housemaids or Domestic Helpers must also have a re-entry visa issued by the country of residence and must be accompanied by their sponsor, who must be a national of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, or the United Arab Emirates.

Visa Issuance for 3rd Country Residents

Passengers with a Permanent Resident or Resident Alien Card (Form I-551) issued by the USA can obtain a visa upon arrival for a maximum of 2 weeks. They can apply to extend their stay upon arrival for an additional 2 weeks.

Visa Issuance for 3rd Country Visas

Passengers with a visa issued by Saudi Arabia, USA, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom or a Schengen Member State can obtain a visa upon arrival for a maximum of 1 month. They can apply to extend their stay for an additional 2 weeks.
